The Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education on June 15 adopted a resolution authorizing issuance of serial general obligation bonds not to exceed $4,050,000 to finance reconstruction, renovation and improvement of various district buildings, facilities and sites and to acquire necessary furnishings and equipment. The resolution specifies a maximum project cost of $4,050,000 and delegates authority to the Board President to sign bonds and bond anticipation notes and to the District Clerk to attest them; the motion carried unanimously.
The resolution notes the district intends to finance the purpose from State building aid and proceeds of the bonds, sets a 30‑year period of probable usefulness for the project, and directs publication of a summary as required by law. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Antonio Abitabile told the board that bids are being prepared and that construction is expected to begin roughly a year from now with work to be completed during the summer of 2027.
