District facilities staff briefed the board on construction progress for the new CTE building. The district reported a labeling error: "the box for the carpet was labeled gray and was installed; however, it is red," and staff said the manufacturer will replace the carpet at their own cost.
Staff also reported they obtained new CTE furniture at half cost through coordination with a vendor working on a neighboring project, and they noted the east-exit windows at the high school CTE building have been installed. The board scheduled a facilities tour to review the new spaces during the February meeting.
