The Umatilla School District Board of Directors on April 9 approved its consent agenda — including the March meeting minutes, HR reports, declared conflicts, disbursements and financial statements — in a unanimous 7–0 vote. Board Member Jon Lorence moved to approve the consent agenda, with Board Member Toby Cranston seconding; the clerk recorded Yea: 7, Nay: 0.
During the consent discussion the board publicly thanked Taunya Daniel for 21 years of service in special education and noted another special-education staff member is leaving the district. No motions were amended and the board recorded the vote as unanimous. The next regular meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2026.
