Board members approved the 2026-2027 rehire list for certified, administrators and confidential staff and the classified employee renewal list during the March 12 meeting. Motion to approve the rehire list was made by Board Member Travis Eynon and seconded by Board Member Steve Warr; Jon Lorence abstained on the rehiring vote and Superintentdent Heidi Sipe declared a conflict. The classified renewal list was approved by motion of Jon Lorence and seconded by Travis Eynon; multiple conflicts were noted, and the motion passed Yea 6, Nay 0, Absent 1.
Minutes record that conflicts of interest were declared by several members at the beginning of the personnel votes and abstentions were applied where appropriate. The board handled both items under action E.4 and E.5 as part of routine personnel approvals for the coming school year.
