Superintendent Aaron Duff presented the district's proposed 2026–27 budget and the board voted to adopt it on June 15. "Adoption of the 2026-2027 budget in the amount of $38,768,600," Mr. Duff stated during the budget hearing and the motion to adopt passed unanimously.
The board set a tax rate of $4.7953 per $1,000 of assessed value for operating purposes and authorized $1,010,000 for bonds. The approved budget authorization lists $26,427,600 for general fund operations, $7,693,000 for special funds, $3,398,000 in debt service and $1,250,000 in capital projects for a total of $38,768,600. No public testimony or objections were recorded during the budget hearing; Superintendent Duff said the budget document matched the version previously reviewed by the budget committee.
