Camron Pope, principal of Tri City Elementary, presented specific student-performance goals for the 2025–26 school year.
Pope said, "Goal 1: By the end of the 2025-26 school year, 100% of students will demonstrate growth, with the percentage of students in the 'Well Below' category decreasing from 43% to 20%, and the 'Below' category decreasing from 17% to 15%. The percentage of students scoring 'At' or 'Above' benchmark will increase from 40% to at least 65%." He also outlined Goal 2 to lower OSAS 'Does Not Meet' from 23% to 10% and 'Nearly Meets' from 26% to 16%, while maintaining at least 51% in 'Meets/Exceeds.'
The presentation framed these targets as school-level priorities tied to ongoing PLC work, interventions and progress monitoring. The board had no questions during the presentation.
