Milton-Freewater Unified SD 7 approved two facilities contracts at its May 12 meeting: IMEG to conduct truss inspections on six buildings and Central Washington Asphalt to complete several asphalt projects across the district.
The minutes record IMEG’s bid of $24,950 for the truss inspections and note the inspections are a PACE requirement to be funded by a TAP grant; “This work is not to begin until after July 1, 2026,” the record states. The board also accepted Central Washington Asphalt’s bid of $84,154.35 to complete asphalt work; that project will be scheduled for the summer maintenance window once school is out.
Vince Ruzicka moved to accept IMEG’s bid and Claudia Limon moved to accept the asphalt bid; both motions passed unanimously. District staff will coordinate scheduling and any required accessibility upgrades (ADA) during the summer projects.
