Palmyra schools honor students and teachers of the month and year

The Palmyra Board of Education recognized Student of the Month recipients at Charles Street and Palmyra Middle/High School and presented Teachers and Educational Services Professionals of the Year across the district during its Jan. 21 meeting.
The Palmyra Board of Education opened its Jan. 21 meeting by recognizing students and staff across the district. Ms. Austin and Ms. Lee presented Student of the Month awards at Charles Street School and Palmyra Middle/High School, honoring Penelope Brzycki (Grade 4), Isabella Nelson (Grade 7), Noah De Frank (Grade 9) and Rian Austin (Grade 12).
Superintendent Dr. Norton and school staff presented Teachers and Educational Services Professionals of the Year for each building. Recognitions included Delaware Avenue School teacher Kristen Holcomb and ESP Hilary Franklin-Weaver; Charles Street School teacher Danielle Watson and ESP Ryan Hoffecker; and Palmyra High/Middle School Teacher of the Year Laurel Deming and ESP of the Year Kathy McClure. The board placed these recognitions on the record as part of the meeting’s presentations.
