Palmyra Board recognizes Students of the Month for Charles Street and Palmyra High/Middle

At its Feb. 18 meeting the Palmyra Board of Education honored four students across Charles Street and Palmyra High/Middle schools as Students of the Month for academic and extracurricular achievements.
The Palmyra Board of Education presented Students of the Month for February during its Feb. 18 meeting.
Ms. Falicki and Dr. Norton presented the Charles Street School student award to Grade 6 student Madelynn Yauger, while Ms. Falicki, Ms. VanZandt and Principal Dan Licata presented awards at Palmyra High/Middle School to Grade 7 student NaBassi Utuk, Grade 9 student Lila Hemmons and Grade 11 student Christina Armstrong. The board noted the recognitions during the presentations and thanked families and staff for supporting student achievement.
"The Board recognizes these students for their accomplishments and representation of school values," the minutes state. The recognitions were part of the presentations portion of the meeting and were followed by regular business items and committee reports.
