Superintendent Dr. Davis opened his report at the Nov. 13 meeting by announcing that the district budget has been approved and that he and Mr. McHugh will receive a detailed analysis at a meeting the following day.
"As everyone know by now that, the budget finally has been approved," Dr. Davis said, and he added that the administration will compile a report or presentation for the board once full details are available. Board members asked about timing for borrowed funds; a staff member said no funds had been received yet but noted a scheduled Social Security payment on Nov. 18 and referenced a webinar that projected owed funds could be caught up in three to five weeks. The board did not take further formal action on the budget at the meeting beyond the update.
