Board approves multiple contracts and repair quotes, including HVAC and concrete work

Board members moved, seconded and approved a slate of procurement and contract items presented by the administration. Dr. Carolyn Crockett moved to approve a revised print, copy and fax management agreement and later moved approval of HVAC compressor replacement quotes and concrete repair quotes for NMS; each motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board also approved contract updates with Flume and Thrive and approved a Tag Smith Island environmental education field trip. A facility use request from the Marine Resources Commission for auditorium space on Sept. 19 was presented and approved after a time modification was noted.
