Under Superintendent recommendations, the board approved several personnel and operational items. The board approved unpaid maternity leave for Markie Tarleton beginning March 9, 2026 and approved Anna Debolt as a preferred teacher substitute retroactive to February 23, 2026 at the rate of $115 per day. The board also approved one-year limited contracts for Kayla Cromley (educational aide) and Dan Kinsey (bus floater step 0), both with 90-day probationary periods beginning March 9 pending credentialing.
The board authorized up to 30 extended service days for Jasmine Russell for the 2025–2026 school year, approved the use of Claymont City school buses for YMCA summer programming with all costs to be charged to the YMCA, and approved Lily Specht as a student teacher for the 2026–2027 school year with mentors Staci Dunn and Shannon Viebranz.
