Creswell School Board approves superintendent search timeline, SIA grant and budget calendar

The Board of Directors of Lane County School District 40 (Creswell SD 40) approved a draft timeline for its superintendent search, adopted an SIA Grant Agreement and approved the district's 2025–26 budget calendar at a Dec. 10 regular meeting in the district office conference room.
Chair Kandice Lemhouse Worsham presided over the meeting, which began at 6:00 PM and included five board members present. Mrs. Lacey Risdal moved to approve the superintendent-search timeline as amended; Ms. Mary Stayton seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved the SIA Grant Agreement and the budget calendar during the New Business section of the agenda.
Bethany Scovil told the board that the SIA Grant Agreement had been posted to the Creswell School District website for public comment earlier in the meeting. Superintendent Mike Johnson shared the district's 2024–25 Oregon Department of Education At‑A‑Glance report cards and a November economic forecast to provide context for the budget calendar. The minutes record that the meeting adjourned at 7:50 PM.
