The Creswell School District Board of Directors approved the Next Superintendent Criteria as amended and agreed on a salary base range to include in the job posting. Consultant Christy Perry led the presentation and said she planned to finalize the criteria for posting on Friday; Board member Debi Wilkerson moved to approve and Mary Stayton seconded, and the motion carried unanimously.
The board also reached consensus on including a salary base range of $160,000 to $185,000 in the job announcement. Perry proposed confidential community interview panels and the board agreed to form two panels (a district-leadership panel and a staff/student/parent/community panel). The board set a Slate meeting for Feb. 24 at 5 PM via Zoom, scheduled finalist interviews for March 10–12 beginning at 6 PM, and moved the regular March meeting to March 18 for final deliberations.
