Creswell School Board adopts calendar, schedules April 1 executive session for superintendent evaluation

The Board of Directors of Lane County School District 40 met on March 18, 2026, in the district office conference room in Creswell. Chair Kandice Lemhouse Worsham presided, and the board approved the agenda and consent agenda by unanimous vote, including minutes, a personnel report, and licensed staff renewals and extensions.
Superintendent Mike Johnson highlighted recent district activities, including the CHS CTE tour and the CES Science Integration Model. The board adopted the proposed 2026–2027 school calendar after a motion by Tim Rogers and second by Sarah Cox. The board also scheduled a special executive-session meeting on April 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM for the superintendent evaluation; Sarah Cox moved the date and Mary Stayton seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The meeting moved into executive session at 7:22 PM and adjourned at 8:27 PM.
