The approved proposal lists General Fund expenditures at $19,880,300; Debt Service at $2,333,585; Capital Projects at $14,840,000; Special Revenue — Grants at $5,543,930; Facilities at $1,180,000; Nutrition Services at $835,200; Vehicle Replacement at $298,000; Student Activity at $523,000; Student Body at $625,000; and Scholarships at $55,500. The committee also approved levying a permanent tax rate of $4.6426 per $1,000 of assessed value in support of the General Fund.
Superintendent Mike Johnson and Business Manager Chanel Green were noted as presenters earlier in the meeting; committee members had the opportunity to ask questions during fund reviews prior to the formal vote. Chair Lemhouse Worsham announced there would be no additional budget committee meeting next week, and the session adjourned at 6:45 PM.
