Board leadership said the district is expanding committee reporting at regular meetings and described outreach for the superintendent search. The board has mailed postcards and emailed families with a survey link and plans to run public town halls and staff focus sessions to collect input on desired characteristics for the next superintendent.
"We're sending out a link. There's 2 we're seeking public input to identify the characteristics and the profile of the next superintendent that the district wants," the Chair said, explaining the survey distribution plan and a series of town halls to be scheduled in February. Trustees said the Hamilton County educational service center is partnering to guide the search process, and the board emphasized public participation.
No vote was required; the board will continue the search process and report updates in committee and regular meetings.
