Laurens board elects three to ONC BOCES board; approves BOCES administrative budget

At its March 18 meeting the Laurens Central School Board individually voted to elect Elizabeth Fallo (Jefferson) and Rebecca Garrison (Charlotte Valley) to ONC BOCES, each previously approved by 4‑0‑0. Board member P. Bush‑Allen arrived at 7:31 p.m.; the subsequent motion to elect Timothy Johnson (Cooperstown) passed 5‑0‑0. The board then approved the ONC BOCES administrative budget for the 2026–27 year.
The board discussed, and then tabled, a separate authorization that would have allowed the superintendent to cast the district's BOCES budget vote and three votes for board members on April 20, 2026; a motion to table that authorization was carried and the item will return to the board on April 15, 2026.
