The board approved the district’s financial report for October and reviewed the check register and larger expenditures.
Kara Taylor of InterMountain ESD presented the financial update, reporting Basic School Support and interest receipts in the packet (roughly $279,9xx for the state payment in October) and that final audit field work is concluding; the auditor (Kylie) is scheduled to present findings to the board early next year. The motion to approve the financials was made by Ryan Raymond and seconded by Todd Thorne and carried unanimously.
The meeting packet also included the Department of Education Student Investment Account (SIA) Grant No. 39213 (Student Success Act). The grant text in the packet lists the 2025–27 biennial allocation and projected amounts (2025–27 Total Biennial Allocation noted at $553,722.76 in the packet and a supporting table showing Year 1 allocation of $199,975.32 and other projections). The grant outlines allowable uses, reporting timelines (quarterly financial/performance reports) and detailed monitoring and disbursement terms.
Board members did not change appropriations at the meeting but accepted the financial materials and audit timeline.
