"It was moved by Paul Bracher and seconded by Friday Bracher that the budget committee of the Helix School District approve taxes for the 2026-2027 fiscal year at the rate of $4.5542 per $1,000 of assessed value for operating purposes in the general fund; and in the amount of $345,000 for bonds; and in the amount of $12,178,002 for the entire operations of the District," the meeting record states. The motion "passed with a unanimous vote of all members present."
The committee noted two members were excused from the meeting. No public comments were made before the vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:21 p.m.
