The Seaside School District 10 board ratified a confidential work agreement covering supervisory and confidential staff that, among other points, reclassifies the district HR generalist to a salaried exempt position and limits the agreement term to two years.
"We did reach an agreement to move our HR generalist into a salaried exempt position," Jeff said during his presentation of the draft agreement, explaining the change was intended to better align compensation with responsibilities. After discussion, a committee member moved to ratify the confidential work agreement, a second was given, and the board approved the motion by voice vote.
