Santa Rosa ISD public hearing presents $15.63 million 2025-26 budget with $197,247 shortfall

The Santa Rosa Independent School District presented its proposed budget for fiscal year 2025-26 at a June 23 public hearing, showing estimated revenues of $15,630,282 and appropriated expenditures of $15,827,529, producing a net (revenues minus expenditures) shortfall of $197,247 before transfers.

Chief Financial Officer Marisa Cuevas introduced the district's official budget documents. The budget document shows transfers-in and transfers-out of $825,337, with net position before other resources recorded as -$197,247 for 2025-26.

The district also published a preliminary estimate of taxable values for the 2025 tax year showing a net taxable of $165,890,511 and an approximate levy calculation of $2,084,086.34 as part of the supporting materials.
