The Finance Committee discussed the administrative assistant position and whether it should remain an hourly role or transition to a salaried, three-day-per-week position. Committee members noted the position's flexibility and additional responsibilities and said changes should be handled in consultation with the employee.
"Members agreed that any changes should be discussed with the employee first and that the job title should accurately reflect the compensation structure," the minutes state. The committee did not make a final decision on reclassification; instead it agreed to coordinate any proposal with the affected employee and with relevant personnel processes before forwarding recommendations to the Board.
