During the May 20 meeting the board accepted the resignations of the Flambeau School’s Head Boys’ Basketball Coach and the Boys’ Assistant Basketball Coach; both resignations were approved unanimously. The board then approved hiring a Middle School Social Studies teacher and an Elementary Special Education teacher for the 2026–27 school year; both hires were recorded as unanimous roll-call approvals.
After a closed session held under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(c) to discuss employment and contract matters, the board reconvened and approved 2026–2027 contracts for the Administrative Assistant, the Bus Mechanic and the IT Assistant/Substitute Teacher; roll-call votes for those contracts were unanimous 7–0. The meeting minutes record the timing of the closed session at 7:34 p.m. and reconvening at 8:47 p.m.
