Board approves multiple construction change requests for HS CTE and ES additions

Parkhill Architects' Ashlee Horsley and district staff presented several Construction Change Requests (CCRs) tied to the HS CTE Addition and Elementary School Addition during the March 18 meeting. The Board approved CCR #003 ($2,277.00 for added smart-board outlets), CCR #005 ($29,504.75 for panic device manufacturer change), CCR #006 (credit $52,834.00 roofing buyback), CCR #007 (credit $2,741.00 for interior material change), CCR #008 ($5,279.22 for electrical room fire stoppage), CCR #009 ($2,026.53 for enlargement of a door opening), CCR #010 ($8,197.20 for concrete overpour demo and removal), and CCR #011 ($10,821.38 for re-routing a fiber line). Each motion passed by unanimous vote of the five members present.

Architects and contractors who presented the requests included Ashlee Horsley (Parkhill), Stephen Martin (ABA), and David Bernal (Gallagher). The change requests included both credit and additional-cost items; the largest single credit reported was CCR #006 at $52,834.00. The approvals allow contractors to proceed with the specified modifications and will be reflected in ongoing project budgets and change-order logs.
