Flambeau district schedules July handbook work sessions, previews state mandates and enrollment figures

District Administrator Mark Stamper reviewed forthcoming state mandates (Act 57 and Act 89) and said the Department of Public Instruction will provide employee training in August. He proposed two work sessions in July to revise handbooks; the board agreed to July 8 and July 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Stamper also updated the board on enrollment: last year the district began with 14 RVA students and ended with 12 as two students returned to Flambeau School; thirteen of the fifteen 3YK students are enrolled for 4YK next year. He noted timing changes for facilities work: the playground crew will arrive next week instead of mid-July.
