The Okemah Board of Education approved three facilities-related expenditures during its June 8 meeting. The board voted to contract Banks Land Management for property cleanup and tree/debris removal at 604 N 6th St. for $10,000, and to purchase doors for the Middle School Multipurpose Building from Hiatt Windows for $9,490.00.
Separately, the board approved a purchase under the Okemah Public Schools 2025 Bond Issue for middle school classroom furniture with K-Log in the amount of $94,326.01. Each motion was moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes and passed by unanimous roll-call votes, Yea:5, Nay:0.
