Silsbee ISD board approves consent agenda including donations, RFPs and purchase orders

Trustee Dana Hancock moved to approve the Consent Action Agenda items A–H; Trustee Jonta Miller seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. "Motion made by Dana Hancock to approve Consent Action Agenda items A-H. Motion seconded by Jonta Miller. Motion passed unanimously," the record states.

Items covered by the consent vote included standard minutes and financial reports, tax reports, utility usage graphs, a budget amendment, a donation from the Silsbee Education Foundation, an anonymous donation to Silsbee Elementary for a greenhouse, and the opening of RFPs for instructional materials and maintenance supplies. Subsequent lines on the agenda list additional procurement items and purchase orders, including RFPs for bus parts and purchase orders to DELCOM for a Chromebook refresh, Micro Integration for a camera project at Laura Reeves Primary, Silsbee Ford for a police vehicle, and Motorola Solutions for police vehicle radios.
