Big Sandy ISD trustees approve routine motions, table two items

The Big Sandy Independent School District Board of Trustees met Monday, July 21, and approved a series of routine agenda items by unanimous vote. Board President Darrell Murphy noted a quorum at 6:30 PM; recorded votes show each motion passed 7–0.

Trustees approved the minutes of the prior meeting and then voted to approve meal prices (motion by Mark Duff, seconded by Maynard Williams), TASB Policy Update 125 (motion by Lyndon Alec, seconded by Kabe Murphy), and the board meeting schedule for 2025–2026 (motion by Zackary Williford, seconded by Kabe Murphy). The board also approved revisions to Board Policy FM (Local) and extended the bank depository contract (motion by Maynard Williams, seconded by Mark Duff).
