Board affirms HIB investigations, approves school security assurance and policy readings

The Waterford Township Board of Education acknowledged Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying investigations and approved the School Security Statement of Assurance for the 2025–2026 school year at its June 17 meeting.
Under the Superintendent’s Education recommendations the board acknowledged the NJQSAC evaluation for 2023–2024 and approved several policies for first reading, including Policy 5561 (Use of Physical Restraint and Seclusion Techniques for Students with Disabilities), Policy 5111.13 (Eligibility of Resident/Non-resident Students—Choice School District), Policy 2200 (Curriculum Content) and others listed in the minutes.
These actions were recorded as part of the Education agenda items and did not include extended debate in the minutes.
