The Oxford Academy & Central School Board convened two executive sessions during its May 13 meeting for matters made confidential by state or federal law.
At 6:42 p.m. the board entered executive session on a motion by Mr. Sheridan, seconded by Mr. Leach; Mr. Lehr was invited to attend. At 7:23 p.m. the board again moved into executive session for personnel and related confidential matters and returned to open session at 8:48 p.m. During executive sessions Mr. Colosi was appointed Clerk Pro Tem; those actions and any confidential discussion topics were not disclosed in open session.
Outside executive session the board acknowledged an anonymous letter, heard a brief public comment from Christopher Rovente who presented gifts to trustees and the superintendent for participating in the school production of Annie, and received planning reminders including the May 20 budget vote, district art show and other calendar items.
