Oxford Academy board amends 2024–25 instructional calendar to give back snow days

At its May 13 meeting the Oxford Academy & Central School Board approved resolution G1 to amend the 2024–25 instructional calendar.
The approved changes designate May 9, May 16 and May 23 as no school (give back snow days), set June 23–25 as half days of instruction for primary and middle school students, and make June 27 a no‑school give back snow day. The motion was made by Mr. Leach, seconded by Mr. Godfrey, and carried by a 4–0 vote.
Board members did not append additional amendments to the calendar at the meeting; the change will be reflected in district communications to families and staff.
