Capital project on schedule; parking-lot milling done, tennis-court work delayed into school year

Superintendent Nicholas A. Colosi told the board the District-wide capital project is proceeding and that parking-lot milling is complete; binder paving is expected next week so deliveries can resume to the loading dock. Colosi said the only significant scheduling delay is the arrival of poles for the tennis courts, which will likely extend that portion of the project into the start of the school year.
Colosi reported a recent flooding incident ruined an air condensing unit and that a claims adjuster will inspect the damage. He also said the greenhouse has been designated as instructional space and will require a heating unit with a pull station, which the district will install. Custodial staff have completed second-floor cleaning; trustees noted grounds looked good for graduation and discussed temporary fencing and walkways to accommodate construction around the pool area.
