Oxford board approves hires, substitutes and personnel changes; appoints Dean of Students
Summary

At the July 2 meeting the board approved personnel resolutions C1–C19 and UC1–UC6 by unanimous vote, covering summer-program workers, substitute teacher and support-staff appointments, tenure-track and long-term substitute teacher hires, mentor and advisor appointments, and multiple stipends. Notable items include the long-term substitute appointment of Meena Conant in Music Education (effective Sept. 1, 2025), the appointment of Sarah Leach to the Music Education tenure area (probationary period beginning Sept. 1, 2025), and the appointment of Deidra Bigelow in the Science tenure area (probationary period beginning Sept. 1, 2025).
The board also accepted resignations retroactive to June 30, 2025 for Jessica Ellis (Mathematics) and bus driver Alan Guldy, and approved Craig Tefft as a teacher on special assignment to serve as Dean of Students effective July 1, 2025 with a $3,500 stipend. Substitute and support-staff appointment lists were presented and approved; additional classifications and stipend levels are recorded in the personnel resolutions.
