Board grants two tenures, approves hires and summer assignments

The Oxford Academy and Central School District board on June 3 granted tenure to two educators and approved a broad slate of personnel actions for the coming year.
Resolutions C1 and C2 grant tenure to Brandon Stoddard and Teresa Titus, effective Sept. 1, 2025. The board also accepted leave requests for Morgan Westbrook (anticipated Sept. 2–Nov. 24, 2025) and Kylie Marvin (leave beginning approximately Sept. 2, 2025 through September 2025). The board approved a package of advisor and extracurricular appointments for 2025–26, summer reading/math workers at $40 per hour (not to exceed $2,880), and other stipended positions.
The board also approved the appointment of John Boldis in the special tenure area of Technology Education, pending certification, with a probationary period beginning Sept. 1, 2025. The minutes note: "Ms. Titus was congratulated on being granted tenure and Mr. Boldis was introduced as the new Technology teacher." The board recorded unanimous approval for the personnel block vote (Yes-4, No-0).
Separately, the board approved termination of the employment agreement for the Digital Fabrication Lab Manager effective June 30, 2025. Several summer hires and support staff substitute appointments were also approved.
