The Oxford Academy & Central School Board approved several contracts and bid awards tied to a District-wide $19.5 million capital project and routine service needs at its July 2 meeting. The board approved the Standard Form of Agreement with Burrell's Excavating, Inc. for the capital project, and separately approved agreements or amendments with Blanding Electric and C&S Engineers related to construction management and project work.
The board also accepted DCMO BOCES milk and ice-cream bid awards (Bill Brothers Dairy; Hershey's Ice Cream) and awarded transportation maintenance services to Leonard Bus Sales, Inc. at a cost of $187,757.47 plus an hourly rate of $68.85 for extra fleet maintenance. Solid-waste removal for 2025–26 was awarded to Waste Recovery at $18,416.00.
Financial approvals at the same meeting included DCMO BOCES invoices and contract billings totaling $899,201.36 for services and print shop/official billings.
Trustees approved these award motions by unanimous votes; each award was presented as part of the district's procurement and capital-project contracting process. The construction contracts and the amounts approved will be managed by the district's construction management team and the business office as the capital project proceeds.
Provenance: Contract approvals and bid awards appear in the board's G12–G15 and G27–G30 resolutions, and the capital-project references appear in the superintendent's project update during the meeting.
