Board approves department chairs, coaches, substitutes and records resignations
Summary
Trustees approved department chair stipends, fall coaching appointments (pending certification), substitute teacher and support staff appointments, and accepted resignations including John Huther (elementary teacher) and Kim Murrer (Graduation Advisor/Yearbook Co-Advisor).
The board approved a slate of personnel actions for the 2025–26 school year, including department chair appointments at a $2,500 stipend (Primary Literacy: Stephanie Smith; Primary Math: Holly Breck; Primary STEAM: Clayton Kappauf; and others), fall coaching appointments pending certification, and substitute teacher and support staff hires.
The board also accepted resignations: John Huther (elementary education teacher), effective after the close of day Sept. 26, 2025, and Kim Murrer, who resigned immediately from Graduation Advisor and Yearbook Co-Advisor positions. Several non-certified aides were appointed subject to civil service probationary rules. All personnel motions recorded in the minutes carried on unanimous votes.
