Superintendent Nicholas A. Colosi updated the board on the district’s multi‑phase capital project, reporting Phase I items are near completion and noting unresolved issues with pathway lighting and a pending decision on paver replacement options. He said bids for Phase II are due Oct. 21 and that Phase II construction is planned to begin in April 2026 with Phase III continuing into summer 2026.
Colosi told trustees the Middle School campus will be closed during the summer construction window and staff will relocate to the Primary/High School campus while work is completed. Mr. Nathaniel Emerson raised concerns about specific project items including walkway railing near the creek, stone pathways and path lighting; the board reviewed options and cost implications for pavers and other finishes.
