The Oxford Academy and Central School District Board of Education unanimously accepted the 2024–2025 independent audit from D'Arcangelo & Co., LLP and approved a corrective action plan responding to the New York State Comptroller’s lead water audit. Ms. Chubbuck of D'Arcangelo told trustees that "the district received an unqualified (clean) opinion on all financial statements," and noted extracurricular activity accounts carried a qualified opinion because student‑handled cash requires additional checks and balances.
Board members moved to adopt resolution G05 accepting the independent audit and to adopt resolution G1 approving the corrective action plan. The motions passed 5–0. School Business Manager Erin Gramstad and the audit committee were thanked in the meeting for their work providing documentation to the independent auditors. Ms. Chubbuck recommended maintaining ledgers for each extracurricular account and having advisors verify balances to improve internal controls.
