District tech team repositions gym camera to improve HUDL recordings
Summary
Technology staff reported they repositioned the gym HUDL camera (suspended from the other side of the gym) to improve angle and performance; the board agreed the solution should work and asked the tech staff to be available remotely if needed.
Technology staff told the board they adjusted the gym camera used for HUDL by suspending it from the opposite side of the gym, improving the camera angle and recorded footage.
Eric Freund explained that he and Dave had figured out how to suspend the camera from the other side of the gym and that "it seemed to be working much better, due to the increased space which allowed for a better angle." Chair Jolene Marchand asked Eric to be available to Zoom into executive session if needed. The board agreed the fix should resolve HUDL issues.
