Santiam Canyon board adopts package of policies on second reading

At its Feb. 11 meeting the Santiam Canyon School Board voted to adopt a package of board policies on second reading covering consultant relationships, meeting procedures, executive sessions, superintendent duties and several instructional and administrative policies.
Mr. Anderson moved to accept all policies listed under Agenda Item 7.1; Mrs. Harrington seconded and the motion passed 4-0 with no discussion. The packet lists policies BCH, BD/BDA, BDC, BDDA, CB, CF, IGAJ and IGAM; full policy texts are available in the board packet online.
Board members did not request revisions during the meeting. The adoptions will be reflected in the district policy manual and are routine updates stemming from the second-reading process.
