Lansingburgh board approves slate of instructional and noninstructional hires and extracurricular appointments

On March 23 the Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education approved a broad consent agenda covering personnel changes. Motions included acceptance of resignations, appointment of substitutes and probationary teaching assistants (examples in the minutes: Matthew Myhre as Substitute (Instructional), Nadine O'Connell appointed as a probationary Teaching Assistant at KMS with Step 4 pay of $20.97/hr.), and several coaching and advisor assignments with contractual stipends for the 2025–2026 school year.
Non-instructional appointments were also approved, including Lesley Gross as School Nurse (RN) for LHS/KMS (non-competitive permanent appointment effective 03/09/2026 at Step 4, $34.91/hr.) and Secretary 1 probationary hires with specified dates and step rates. The sports and extracurricular slate approved included coaches for baseball, softball, track, unified basketball and advisors for programming such as ski club and senior bootcamp. All personnel motions on the consent agenda were approved by recorded votes (for example, RESO #5 and RESO #6 carried 9–0).
