The board then considered appointment of a budget officer for the 2026–27 year. Kathy Silva moved to appoint Aaron Duff as the Budget Officer for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027; Vince Ruzicka seconded and the motion was recorded as approved. Mr. Duff also noted the budget committee will need three new members and encouraged interested community members to apply via the district website.
