Superintendent (S1) told the board that three certified staff members have resigned: Allison Henkel (online coordinator), Sue Denman (a longtime fourth‑grade teacher), and Kylie Woody (elementary teacher). "So I wish all 3 of them luck in what they're doing and their next steps," Superintendent (S1) said before recommending the board approve their resignations.
The board moved and approved the resignations by voice vote. Superintendent (S1) then presented seven hires who had completed the hiring committee process and recommended approval. Named hires in the presentation included Daisy Hyde Hade (child development specialist), Angel Palacios (CDS at Central Middle School), Lindsay Daugherty (special ed teacher at Central Middle), Emma Lieber and Ashley Jones (both district graduates joining as teachers), Gary Eastman (math teacher at Mac High returning on a one‑year contract), and Reagan Braden (elementary teacher at Ferndale). The board moved, seconded, and approved all seven hires.
