Ms. Bridal Geopak, director of music and performing arts, presented awards and recognized student achievements across multiple contests, including AP and county art exhibits, a Long Island Media Arts photography first place, and BASH awards for the district's media team. She read multiple student winners by name and noted that three student artworks were selected for a wrapping‑paper contest printed in the Long Island Herald.
Geopak also announced that student artwork will appear as shore‑conservation signs through the National Audubon Society contest and that the Oyster Bay East Norwich Arts Foundation purchased a perpetual plaque to display winners' photos at Vernon and district locations.
