Finance director Andrew Mackey updated the board on monthly revenue and expenditures through Oct. 31, 2025, and fielded questions about the district's financial position.
Mackey said the district's October revenue is approximately $2,838,420 after county tax reports arrived and noted that the figure is nearly identical to the same point last year. “It's actually $2,838,420,” he said, adding that expenditures through October are about $4,500,000 and that lower interest income — driven by declines in federal interest rates — accounts for much of the year‑over‑year differences.
Mackey projected that property‑tax receipts arriving in December and January typically close the gap and indicated that the district's spending is tracking to plan. He also referenced potential longer‑term local economic impacts tied to the Fujifilm and Ascend closures and said the administration is preparing for possible revenue changes.
