Architects to return with revised new-school plans; board raises access and office layout concerns

Superintendent Kristie Medina told the board that architects visited district schools last week, met with staff and will return in two to three weeks to present revisions to the draft new-school plans. She said the district plans to meet with staff again before sharing plans with the community.
Board member Dustin Walton and staff raised concerns about visitor access to office areas and the apparent lack of administrative offices on the high school's second floor in the current plans. Ms. Craig asked that her office be relocated closer to her secretary and the resource room; Ms. Medina said those concerns can be reviewed during the architects' next visit.
