The Claymont City Board approved the treasurer's package at its April 13 meeting, adopting the March financial report and authorizing payment of bills and minutes from prior meetings.
The board voted to renew liability, fleet and property insurance through Ohio School Plan via Hylant for the policy period May 1, 2026–April 30, 2027. The board also approved a natural gas purchase contract at a fixed price of $4.69 per thousand cubic feet (mcf) covering May 2026 through June 2027. Finally, the board accepted a $500 donation from First Federal Community Bank earmarked for a high school digital board project.
Votes were recorded by roll call with Ms. Campbell, Mr. Peters and Mrs. Wolf voting yes on the treasurer's package and Mrs. Host recorded as abstaining on at least one item; the motions carried.
