Board approves multiple personnel actions after closed session, including hires, resignations and retirements
Summary
Following a closed session under Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c), the board approved leave requests, accepted retirements and resignations, and approved several hiring recommendations for instructional, support and coaching positions.
After adjourning to closed session under Wis. Statutes 19.85(1)(c) for personnel matters, the Boyceville board reconvened in open session on Feb. 18 and approved multiple actions. Motions carried to grant a two-week unpaid leave of absence for a support staff member; accept the retirement of Keri Peterson (Elementary Teacher) and Jacob Schoeder (Network Administrator); and accept the resignation of Angela Hellmann as Elementary Summer School Lead Teacher and Trevor Hollister as JV Baseball Coach.
The board also approved hiring recommendations: Ashlee Morse as a part-time elementary special education paraprofessional; Kendra Delong as a full-time custodian; Jeff Thomely as a part-time custodian; Shane Wehlage as Varsity Volleyball Coach; Erica Cormican as JV Volleyball Coach; Derrick Retz as JV Baseball Coach; and Monica Miranda as Prom Advisor. All motions were seconded and approved unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
