Ben Mrdutt moved to accept the recommendation and Jessie Olson seconded; all board members voted in favor. The hire was taken after the Board reconvened in open session at 9:05 p.m. following a closed session that began at 5:27 p.m. and cited Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(c) as the authority for closing the meeting to discuss employment matters. The motion carried without objection.
